SHEILD ALLIANCE was formed on June 15th, 2015
SHEILD ALLIANCE RULES
Each league that joins the alliance will be held responsible for doing their part in making the SHEILD ALLIANCE into a single, strong unit that will stand against the tyranny and treachery of leagues and leagued castles that try to destroy members.
S.H.E.I.L.D is the leader of this alliance.
Remember, we are all a team, working as one unit, to build a strong foothold in Stormfall.
The Hierarchy of the Alliance:
Marshals, Captains, and Commanders will be considered to be ‘The Counsel of SHEILD ALLIANCE.’ A restricted area will be set up on the forum that is for Counsel members only. Discussions and decisions will be given in that area which will be named “Counsel Members” and any league that joins the Alliance will submit their Counsel member’s names to SHEILD who will give them access to that section.
The community forum pages are open for any league and all members.
JOINING THE FORUM:
Each member that joins the forum MUST use their castle name and followed by their coordinates to keep confusion at a minimum.
ALLIANCE GOALS:
The Alliance is a democratic coalition. Everyone joining is expected to be responsible for their actions and work to protect the rights of others in their league and in the Alliance. Name calling, disrespectful attitudes, and failure to consider diplomacy will not be tolerated. Once you and your league have joined the Alliance, we are a team, each responsible to the others in the Alliance, and ready to help in any way necessary to protect and preserve the strength of the Alliance. Everyone will have a vote. The Counsel will present their leagues vote when it comes to matters of war and other issues that may arise and it will be presented to the Counsel for a vote.
Due to the varying number of members in leagues, it would be unfair to allow all Counsel members a vote on issues that are up for discussion. In order to remove that variable, votes should be taken by the marshals of their league and marshals ONLY will submit a vote.
The leader of the Alliance (SHEILD) will have the final word on any matter that is not decided by a vote.
Each member of the Alliance must have <SA> (SHEILD ALLIANCE) in their castle name to send the message that they are part of a bigger coalition than a league. NO ONE in the Alliance may attack any member that has <SA> in their castle name. If a leagued player has the banner in their castle name, it is wise to check the league and make sure the league marshal also has the banner, this will prevent any treachery by a player to represent their allegiance to the Alliance. Obviously, any unleagued player with the banner displayed is not part of the alliance.
League Relations:
Leagues are expected to respect each league within the SHEILD Alliance. If a problem arises between any leagues that cannot be resolved peacefully, the Counsel will decide the outcome of the issue. If the Counsel cannot agree, SHEILD will have the final decision on the matter. Once a decision is made, leagues are expected to follow the decision.
All Leagues will have a vote on matters within the Alliance. Any matter voted on will be limited to a 48-hour window, when that time expires, the voting is finished.
Leagues that want to join will be voted on by the current members of the Alliance. The window for voting on that matter will be 72-hours.
REMEMBER, if you do not vote, you also do not have the right to complain.
Call to Arms (CTA):
All leagues are expected to help when a CTA is posted in the forum; that is why we have an Alliance. Everyone has the others back. You will be expected to post Screen Shots (SS) in the thread that will be created for the purpose of each CTA. If you do not help, do not expect help. And DO NOT expect to be a part of the Alliance for long if you do not help.
The Alliance has a three strike and you’re out policy. During CTA’s your league is required to participate and you are required to post hits. If you do not post SS, it never happened. Miss three CTA’s and you will be removed from the alliance, no excuses. This will be tracked and documented.
Once an Alliance CTA is posted, all leagues are required to participate. There is only one reason not to be active in a CTA and that is a prior League CTA commitment that is known before and only before the Alliance CTA is posted.
An exception to responding to a CTA would be if the member was absent from the game - that matter is to be handled by the marshal of the league. When a CTA is sent out, Screen Shots are expected to be posted of raids and sieges in the CTA Section.
Leagues are asked to handle their business as seen fit. If you require help from the alliance, you are requested to ask for it. All the information pertaining to a request will be necessary so that a decision can be made. You are asked to provide all the information, from how the issue started , to how it escalated. If any information is found to be untrue, action will be taken upon your league, up to and including dismissal from the Alliance.
DO NOT attack a leagued castle for PVP points or resources and then expect the Alliance to give you protection, that is not the purpose of the Alliance.
Castles:
ALL castles within the Alliance are required to carry the <SA> symbol in their castle name. If this tag is not in the name, it is not part of the <SA>. Previous or newly added allies/peace in each individual league is accepted but if a league is at peace/allied with a league that is not a member of <SA>, the Sheild Alliance will superscede any other alliances formed by individual leagues. It is highly recommended that as this alliance grows, leagues remove all other allies from their league - ask previous allied leagues to join the Sheild Alliance to build and maintain peace.
ANY CASTLE with this tag, and the league listed in our membership roster, are to be left alone. Any deviation from this will be handled at the league level, if it cannot be handled in this manner, it will be handled by the Leader of the Alliance. All leagues agree to abide by the leaders ruling.
Punishment for any interalliance attacks will be the following:
- The offender is to pay back all troops lost, and resources taken, plus 25%. A calculator will be used to figure compensation: Troop-Compensation-Calculator 1 1.xlsx (17.56 KB). NOTE: This file will download to your computer, once you input the values, you should receive the final calculation. You must take a SS of it and post it in the appropriate thread.
The offender will have two week's time to pay back the required resources due to the twice-a-day resource restriction on Plarium. Also due to the resource allowance transfer of 50K per week to each player, the offending raider may need to send resources to his league members and have them forwarded on to the victim of the raid. All offenses do not need to be presented to the Alliance as long as they are worked out between the leagues. In the event that retribution is not satisfactory to the victim of the raid (per Alliance stipulation), then it should be presented to the Alliance. The Marshal of each league is responsible to keep their members in order with the terms of the Alliance. - If the offender does not follow this, then it is up to the league of the offender to payback the loss. And the offender is to be REMOVED from that league immediately, and is not to be allowed to join any other <SA> league.
BEACONS:
This is very simple; do not attack other <SA> beacons. If by chance it does happen, the offender will pay back all lost troops and resources taken, plus 25%.
If and when NEW beacons are released, if your league is going for one it must be posted in a Beacon Thread that will be open for everyone to view. If it is not posted, it was never said.
If your Beacon has been attacked, handle it as you see fit, if help is needed, post on the Alliance Forum in the Beacon Thread.
When we are taking a Beacon as an alliance, the holding team will fill it with enough defenses to hold it. Aiding in taking or defending a beacon is not mandatory to the good of the Alliance. It is optional by league choice. In the Beacon Thread the amount of troops needed to defend a beacon at varying levels will be posted. Each league in the Alliance may add information and tips at any time, post your observations and experience for the good of the Alliance. Any league attempting a beacon takeover that is asking for help from the Alliance must post screenshots to prove they have enough to defend the beacon.
Fiefs and Sieges:
These are open and fair game for all. We are all here to work together. If an argument arises over fiefs/settlements, it must be handled by the leaders of the leagues. If it reaches a point where players from different leagues in the Alliance are continually arguing/fighting over a particular fief/settlement, this is a blatant destruction of troops that may be needed to help other Alliance members and in the taking of beacons – THIS IS DEEMED AS UNACCEPTABLE. In that event, it must be brought to the attention of the Counsel and possible expulsion from the Alliance may occur if the leagues do not handle their own. Marshals are expected to be aware of issues over fiefs and settlements, please handle this within your league. The Alliance is not a babysitting organization, please be diplomatic and work towards equitable solutions.
Settlements:
These are also fair game. But we ask that you try to avoid any settlement displaying the <SA> tag. There are many other leagues and alliances to take them from.
Membership:
1) Membership within the <SA> alliance will be just that, you are a member, and CANNOT be a member of any other alliance.
2) DO NOT raid other <SA> tagged castles.
3) Must send request to S.H.E.I.L.D coods 26; -830
4) Can be asked to leave at any time by the Alliance Leader if you do not follow alliance rules.
5) All leagues wanting to join will read this set of rules and signify by commenting in this thread that they agree and will abide by the rules.
COMMON SENSE:
Please remember that in all interactions and correspondence, common sense applies. Be sure to have yours at full force and remember, this is a game. Diplomacy often rules much better than confrontation, please help the Alliance grow by using your daily dose of common sense. As the Alliance grows, the requirements may change. Suggestions are welcome but please keep in mind this is universal to the Alliance and changes will only be accepted if it is for the good of the members.
It is the wish of the SHEILD Alliance that everyone will work together and create a sheild to protect our leagues from being vandalized and our members castles from being attacked and forces destroyed needlessly.
